January Miscellaneous, 2022

These are the faces of two of my very favorites that, despite the odds, made it through the month of January and are still super silly.  Its a tough month....every year...but we did it and even have a few highlights to share.

Ruby put together a unicorn puzzle she received for Christmas and was then so excited to use it as part of a project for school - it was part of her book report for The Unicorn Academy.

Playing games is a favorite way to hide out from the cold.

We spent a lot of time at the rec center watching Luke play basketball and I couldn't have loved it more.  He has such a great team and coaches and I have loved watching him fall in love with the game.

Just showing off the most loved puppy on the planet!

Ruby loved having Tim come to her classroom for Dads & Donuts

Ok, so there were a few major highlights during the month - Hamilton made it back to SLC and we were so excited to be "in the room where it happened".  The show was amazing - I barely moved the entire night because I was so mesmerized by the singing, the dancing, and just the entire spectacle.

Ruby is always surrounded by friends and is so lucky to have so many great ones.

The cold weather does make it possible to have some pretty great experiences, like going to the Ice Castles.  Every year they are different, but each year we are all still equally amazed.

Ruby was the most excited to celebrate the 100th day of school and dress up like an old lady.  She spent a lot of time planning her outfit and accessories, and executed the look like a pro.

And...finishing the month off with a little more of the sillies.
