Fall Festivals, 2020

With so many activities shut down this year, pumpkin patches or fall festivals have been our number one weekend activity.  We have tried out nearly all of the different ones in our area and loved them all. It also helps that the weather this fall was super mild - what better way to spend a sunny afternoon.

The Scarecrow Festival at Thanksgiving Point has always been a favorite.  I am always amazed at the creativity of others.  The kids loved spotting familiar "faces" on the scarecrows, and Tim and I just loved watching all of their excitement.

Jaker's was the first pumpkin patch I took the kids to when there were babies.  This year was the perfect time to go back.  They have added a lot of activities, but the hayride was still our favorite.

Even Trader Joe's had a Halloween photo op.

On the last Friday of October, we finished where we started and went back to Gordos.  Tim wasn't with us the first time and the kids really wanted him to experience the fun.  Honestly, it was just as good the second time around.  I think Gordos took the award for "Best Pumpkin Patch" this year for our family.
