September is Tim's favorite month and it always seems to be one of our best. We started out this year at Onion Days for Labor Day weekend. The kids loved the parade, and we had a great time wandering through the park and shopping for treasures.
While we shopped at the boutique, the boys went to the car show,
This beauty was Luke's favorite.
One of the very best things about September is the return of BYU football. We had season tickets again this year and Luke and I were so excited for the opening game. The game went into several overtimes and we were there until way past midnight. But the Cougars pulled out the win and we found ourselves down on the field again, celebrating with the masses. These memories with Luke are everything.
Prior to the next football game, we ran into the basketball Coach Pope. He was with two new transfers, Jaxon Robinson and Rudi Williams, as well as a recruit. They were do gracious to stop and talk to Luke - it made him feel so special that they would all take the time to talk to him. So that ended up being another awesome game and memory.
The only thing better than watching football, is when Luke get to play the game. He has always been a great offensive player, but this season he really discovered the love of playing defense.
This Real Salt Lake game was a first for all of us, and such a good time.
Luke and Ruby participated in the primary program and it was just so sweet to watch them sing and share their testimonies. I love the light in their eyes and the change to be a mom to these amazing little spirits.
Provo Homecoming and the cutest little friends.
Luke and Ruby's school pictures turned out so great this year.
We finished the month off with a celebration of Taylor's birthday.
