Gosh we just really love summertime, and water, and sunshine!!! Once the temperature finally stated to rise, we quickly headed outside to play.
Utah Lake was the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon. There were very few people there so the kids had the bay pretty much to themselves. They had so much fun floating, and paddling, and creating all sorts of seaweed infested worlds.
Our neighbor has been so good to us and has invited us to go boating several times. We have tried to be the perfect boating guests to make sure we were invited back, but it wasn't hard with such great company. The kids tubed, and screamed, and flew off into the water, and then begged to do it again. I got on for a few minutes, but remembered that I just really don't like it. I am super content to ride in the sunshine and take care of raising the flag when someone goes for a swim. These lake days were some of the very best days of our summer.
Is there better summertime fun than jumping on the trampoline in your swimming suit with the sprinkler? These girls are living the life!
