Fall Break - Park City 2019

Fall Break arrived this year and we somehow found ourselves in Park City for yet another school vacation.  It really is one our our favorite places to get away and this trip was especially fun.  We spent our first afternoon exploring and eating on Main Street, and then retreated to the Marriott where we spent the rest of the weekend relaxing.

These geode loving kids were in awe!

It's like a rule...when in Park City,
You have to have a picture with the bear on Main Street

And this pig might be the newest photo tradition.

The kids loved the climbing skeletons

Twinning with my little.

The day before we got to Park City, a cold front came through and it ended up snowing and being below freezing for the entire weekend.  That didn't stop the kids from wanting to spend nearly all of their time in the pool and hot tubs.  It really is their favorite part of Park City and they definitely got their money's worth on this trip.

The first thing the kids want to do when we get to the Marriott, is run to see Sunny, the canary.  He is usually in the kid club area, but apparently he was too stressed with all of the guests so they moved him to an office for the weekend.  I think the staff thought it was cute that Luke and Ruby were so interested in the bird so they allowed them to go in an visit whenever they wanted.

One of our favorite parts about the Marriott Mountainside is The Mine and all of the activities they have for kids.  I think Luke and Ruby have done the outdoor mining once before, but this time they were super into searching for every last gem.  It was freezing outside so once they collected all of their gems,  they took their treasures back to the room to sort and organize.  Luke somehow came up with a monetary value for each type of gem, ad spent the rest of the night adding up his riches.

Ruby and Luke were so excited when they found out that the could make a tie dye shirt in The Mine.  They both already loved tie dye and were really excited to make their own one of a kind shirts.

Worn out from just too much fun!
